About Me?
Hi, I'm Daniel
An NHS and private practice BABCP accredited Psychotherapist with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I believe that most problematic symptoms can be the result of becoming confined in vicious cycles of repetitive negative thoughts & behaviours whether conscious or unconscious. Most clients attend their first session with this knowledge but are stuck in terms of how to proceed. Overall I aim to help you guide yourselves to tangible fulfilment both in technical knowledge and in practical measurable successes.

My Approach
Primarily my training spans from a grounding in cognitive behavioural therapy, however, experience has shown me that not everyone relates to this style. Borrowing from a range of popular approaches, I enjoy adjusting to your needs and allowing plenty of room for self-exploration and deeper thinking. I like you to leave each session with relevant home practices in place or at with least thought-provoking lines of questioning worthy of self-reflection. I often include popular references, relevant podcast segments or further reading recommendations and I am always keen to receive some! I aim to create a relaxing environment for us to navigate difficult material, I base the premise of my therapy style on the concept that emotions we resist, persist.
"Most failures are one time costs, most regrets re-recurring cost. The pain of inaction stings longer than the pain of an incorrect action".
